DIY Hand Sanitizer-It’s what I am bringing on my trip

UGH traveling via plane to another country brings on my germ anxiety big time!

The hand sanitizers we find in the store generally contain a large amount of alcohol which is terrible for the skin.  How do we make our own with the same effectiveness?

I used a purse size hand sanitizer squeeze bottle and emptied the contents.  From there I added the following:

Aloe Vera Gel- soothing for the skin

Alcohol free witch hazel-Very soothing for the skin and great for sunburns and diaper rash

Tea Tree Oil- Antibacterial, Antimicrobial, Antiviral, and Antiseptic.  There isn’t much this great oil can’t defend against!

Vitamin E- Super great for your skin

  • Fill the squeeze bottle 3/4 of the way to the top with Aloe Vera Gel
  • Add 1 tbsp Alcohol Free Witch Hazel
  • 6 drops of Tea Tree Oil find it here
  • 1 tsp liquid Vitamin E find it here

Combine all ingredients into the squeeze bottle and shake well.
